Travel options
Illmitz is easily accessible via the A4 motorway (exit Neusiedl am See) or from the south via the A2/S31. By train, you can travel to Neusiedl am See station, from where regional buses run regularly to the village. Arrival by bicycle is also possible via the Neusiedler See cycle path.
Parking in Illmitz
Please note that many parking spaces are occupied during our events. When booking your accommodation, check whether your host provides parking spaces. However, there are usually still gaps and public parking options available.
Detailed travel options:
By car: From Vienna via the A4, exit Neusiedl am See/Gewerbepark, then continue on the B51/B50 via Podersdorf to Illmitz. From the south via the A2 and S31.
By train (ÖBB): Trains run hourly from Vienna Central Station to Neusiedl am See station. From there, there is a direct bus connection to Illmitz.
By bus: From Neusiedl am See station, regional buses (VOR – Transport Association Eastern Region) run directly to Illmitz.
Bicycle/ferry: Via the Neusiedler See cycle path or by bicycle ferry from Rust/Mörbisch.
