1Book your accommodation
Choose from over 80 places to stay and find the perfect option to enjoy your Wine Experience to the fullest.
2Plan your journey
Whether by car, bus or train – all roads lead to Illmitz. There is plenty of free parking available.
3Buy your Wine Experience ticket
Your ticket is available exclusively at the Illmitz parish hall and is valid for a full weekend.
Good to know: The ticket includes a popular wine purchase voucher, which can be redeemed at all participating wineries.

4Visit the vinotheque
At the local vinotheque, you can taste wines from all participating winemakers in advance.
You may even discover your first favourites and plan your personal Wine Experience route through the open cellars.
5Enjoy dinner
Illmitz offers a wonderful selection of restaurants and local eateries.
Enjoy regional specialities and create the perfect culinary foundation for your wine tastings.
6Start your Wine Experience
With your ticket, the cellar doors of all participating winemakers are open to you.
Tip: Use our map to roughly plan your route – and enjoy a wonderful day discovering our wines.
7Stay overnight
in comfort
After a day full of tastings, it’s a pleasure when your bed is just a short walk away.
Wake up refreshed and enjoy a lovingly prepared breakfast before starting another day of wine and nature in Illmitz.
8Buy wines directly from the winery
Before you leave, be sure to pick up your favourite wines directly from the winemakers.
You can also redeem your wine voucher from your Wine Experience ticket.
